The Frilled Neck Lizard is part of the dragon family and is found throughout the Northern Territory as well as Nothern Queensland. The frill, a large, leathery flap of skin is used to make the lizard appear larger and more threatening when alarmed. It also has the ability to run on its two hind legs sometimes reaching speeds of 30km/h.
